REGGIO EMILIA – Marco Massari in the lead with 49%: the centre-left candidate wins in the first round, but does not avoid a run-off. This is what emerges from a survey carried out byspecialized agency Bidimedia which is independently conducting surveys on various Italian cities called for administrative elections next June.
Giovanni Tarquini for the centre-right it is given at 36.5%, Fabrizio Aguzzoli of Civic Coalition at 10.2%, Paola Soragni of the Reggio Emilia Movement civic list is at 2.0%, Gianni Tasselli of Rifondazione Comunista at 1.2%, Simona Gherpelli of the 3V Movement is at 1.1%.
As regards list votes, the Democratic Party is at 32%, Fratelli d’Italia at 22.3%, Coalition Civica at 9.3%, the Tarquini civic list at 6.4%, higher than Lega and Forza Italia given at 4.3 and 4% respectively. The 5 Star Movement is at 3.8%, Action at 3.5%. The survey was conducted between 10 and 14 April, examining a sample of 800 respondents.
Last March 21, a survey conducted by was released Youtrend Quorum and commissioned by the Massari Mayor committee: according to that survey, Massari was given over 52% and therefore winning in the first round with Tarquini at 36% and Aguzzoli at 9%. The Democratic Party was given at 34%, Fratelli d’Italia at 23%.
The Bidimedia survey asked the voters interviewed how their life in Reggio Emilia has been in the last 5 years: worsened according to 44%, unchanged according to 32%, improved according to 22%.
