The negative protagonist of this story, which took place in the province of Salerno, was a 38-year-old local man who had targeted a woman who lived in the same town. The man was reported by the woman after he began to persecute her to the point of inducing her “into a state of fear and anxiety”, as the carabinieri explain in a note from her. The 38-year-old was arrested by the Carabinieri following a request signed by the Judge for Preliminary Investigations of the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of Vallo della Lucania and is now under house arrest waiting to respond to the charges of persecutory acts.
A 43-year-old removed from home and banned from approaching his wife and children
In the same hours, again in the province of Salerno, there was another intervention by the police for a similar case: a man was in fact removed from the family home with a ban on approaching the offended person and his minor children. This is a 43-year-old man domiciled in the province of Salerno, although resident in the neighboring province of Avellino. The man is currently under investigation for mistreatment of family members or cohabitants, as he is said to have been the protagonist of attacks against his wife. The man was reached by the police who, at the request of the Salerno Prosecutor’s Office and with an order signed by the judge for preliminary investigations of the Court of Avellino, ordered him to leave the family home, with an attached ban on approaching his wife and children .
