a day of events and entertainment for sustainability

TURIN – Today, April 20thi Royal Museums of Turin they will transform into a living stage for the Earth Festival, an event dedicated to promoting sustainability and good environmental practices. Organized by AWorld and Club Silencio, with the support of the Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation, the event offers a wide range of activities, performances and workshops to educate and engage the public on crucial issues related to the environment.

The day’s agenda is dense and varied, with more 150 guests and more than 45 scheduled activities. From workshops to talks, from laboratories to shows, every moment is designed to offer an immersive and educational experience to participants.

The program

The event will start at 9:00 am and end at 12:00 pm, guaranteeing over 15 hours of continuous entertainment and information. Among the highlights of the day, at 1pm Domenico Urban Drummer, in collaboration with Iren, will offer a unique musical performance that transforms unusual objects into musical instruments, creating irresistible rhythms and gags.

At 9.45am, the documentaryFood for Profit“, a cinematic investigation created by Giulia Innocenzi and Pablo d’Ambrosi that explores the link between the meat industry, lobbies and political power, offering an enlightening and provocative look at the problems of intensive farming in Europe.

Music will reign supreme at 3.30pm with the Jazz Street Paradea marching band from New Orleans that will entertain the audience with a mix of musical styles ranging from Dixieland to R&B, from cool to free, up to swing and funk.

The Roman Theater will host it at 4.30 pm showThe words of Circular Health“, with the participation of the virologist Ilaria Capua and of Lodo Guenziwhich will guide the public on a journey through time and the words of scientific dissemination.

The evening will end with a unique concert by the “pianist of nature”, Alexander Martyrat 6.45pm, followed by the screening of the video of the performance “UUUUDUM” by Luca Lagash of Marlene Kunts, and the presentation in national preview of the official video Of “Secular Prayer“, song by Marlene Kuntz feat. Elisa at 8.30pm.

With the artistic direction of Alessandro Rocchetti, the evening will see the participation of artists of the caliber of Nina Zilli, Danti, Eiffel65, Ex-Otago, The Moderns, Pietro Morello, Juma And Max Casacci.

Access to the Roman Theater, to some workshops and laboratories, and to the concert is only possible by reservation. The event will end with the message “A climate of change can change climate change”, illuminating the Mole of Turin of green.
