In recent days, the State Police of the Pordenone Police Headquarters has strongly intensified its activity to combat illicit drug trafficking throughout the province.
As part of these services, in the late afternoon of 18 April, Flying Squad personnel, after having noticed an unusual coming and going of known drug users, notified the Public Prosecutor on duty, carried out a personal home search at the home of the twenty-three-year-old citizen Italian of Moroccan origins, who shares the apartment with his wife and two-month-old son; the search had a positive outcome as it was hidden inside a pair of shoes placed in the shoe rack
of the bedroom, a wrapper containing 135 grams of narcotic substance of the cocaine type was found. Furthermore, a few grams of marijuana, 2 scales and various packaging materials were found in the house.
In consideration of the large quantity of narcotic substance found, the young man was arrested in the act of committing a crime and placed in the Pordenone prison at the disposal of the Judicial Authority.
The seized drugs would have brought in over 15,000 euros in profit on the market.
