Also the Cairoli of Varese joined the “National Night of the Classical High School”. The event, which took place simultaneously with the participating institutes in the rest of Italy, it was staged yesterday evening, Friday 19 April, in the classrooms of the Varese high school. The protagonists of the initiative are the students, teaching staff and parents, invited to attend the event.

The event, which takes place every year, has as its purpose the promotion of classical culture, in particular Greek and Latin, as well as the enhancement of the classical high school curriculum. And so from 6pm until midnight Cairoli hosted events, debates and insights.

From Manzoni’s itineraries to literature workshops, from the interpretation of Greek myth to philosophy, up to reflections on gender violence, but also poetry recitals and an interesting excursus on the Roman tombstones kept in the Villa Mirabello museum, There were many topics on which the young students from Varese demonstrated excellent analytical skills and profound interest towards the subjects with which they deal every day in their scholastic journey.
