She had been caught selling drugs in Tocci park and then near Piazzale Fiume, in the historic centre.

She, Elisa Carapezzi, 40 years old, had been arrested by the state police for possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing.

The handcuffs were imposed on March 28 as part of an activity to combat the drug market, conducted by the mobile squad of the Reggio police station after receiving some reports.

In front of judge Sarah Iusto, assisted by lawyer Tiziana Tonon, the woman agreed yesterday morning in court for 2 months, in continuation with another sentence from 2023, again for drugs, with a sentence of 4 months; the woman will do public utility work.

Carapezzi had been seen on March 28 while giving something to a person who then quickly walked away.

At that point the police raid began, blocking and searching them both.

0.72 grams of heroin were found in the customer’s pocket, while the woman had a wrapper with 1.13 grams of heroin which she hid in her underwear.

In his backpack he had a precision scale, wire cutters and pliers, objects he was unable to explain.

She was also charged with carrying objects capable of offending.
