Eighty thousand euros have been allocated by the municipality for the renovation of the building used as changing rooms

Foligno, 20 April 2024 – A renovated facility that will be inaugurated on Saturday 20 April and a lot of enthusiasm around the Sant’Eraclio Sports Association present in the social fabric of the Foligno district since 1967, the year of its foundation.
A bulwark for the training of the young generations who have followed one another over time under the banner of the values of sociability, sporting loyalty and healthy fun. A reality that stood out for the attention paid above all to the amateur football championship.
The current president Claudio Pugnali with extreme pride claims that “our association includes as many as 80 footballers including children and young people in the age range from 5 to 14 years from “little friends” to “very young” and that “in the next season the formation of a team for the student category cannot be ruled out, thus expanding the roster of players up to the age of 16”.
A staff composed of eleven talented managers from the vice president Manuel Bosi, and from Marco Dominici, Mauro Ferri, Giovanni Brunelli, Carlo Caprai, Claudio Bartocci, Roberto Brunelli Felicetti, Cristiano Costantini, Mario Marzolesi, Matteo Pioli, Nicola Settimi respectively advisors who together with the President Claudio Pugnali dedicate themselves collegially with passion and determination to the growth of the sports club to allow this laudable tradition to have a bright future.
“But there is another reason to be happy – adds President Pugnali – after the last maintenance intervention by the Municipality of Foligno which took place way back in 2009, the current municipal administration of Mayor Zuccarini has allocated 80,000 euros in the budget for fix the roof, the fixtures and paint the building used as changing rooms for the athletes”.
Satisfied with the result achieved, Claudio Pugnali specified that “the renewal of the agreement for the management of the sports facilities in via Colle Scandolaro (football and tennis) for a further five years was stipulated between the Municipality of Foligno and the Sant’Eraclio amateur sports association and in the event of the continuation of the current municipal council in the next legislature, the construction of the new lighting system has also been guaranteed”.
The president concluded by declaring that “on Saturday 20 April at 11.30 am, all the institutional representatives of the Zuccarini municipal council, the managers of the sports of the Municipality of Foligno but also the institutions and voluntary associations of Sant’Eraclio, the management, the members of the Asd S.Eraclio, the families and the entire citizenry.
At the end of the ceremony, a rich aperitif will be provided for those present. Around the sports disciplines of football and tennis with cutting-edge facilities, Sant’Eraclio, the ancient village of the Castello dei Trinci, will thus be able to educate future generations in close harmony with the other educational agencies present in the area starting from the parish Oratory ” don Mariano Filippini”, the Foligno 3 “Galilei” comprehensive institute and last but not least the families.
