The 5 Star Movement of Cesena presented the new course to the press yesterday afternoon in support of re-nomination of Enzo Lattuca. The appointment took place at “Sweet rice”a place specializing in macrobiotic, vegetarian and vegan cuisine in via Guido Marinelli, and was moderated by Andrea Bertaniformer five-star regional councilor.
“We are completing a process that began a few months ago – explained the provincial coordinator Mauro Frisoni -. We will be an active part in progressive camp. The themes remain the same, in continuity with the past: climate, social and generational justice”.

The candidate Antonella Alessandriretired, touched on one of the main points of the five-star program: “In the world of work – she said – the minimum salary it must be a guarantee for a dignified life, especially for young people. Let’s look at the experiences of municipalities such as Florence And Bacoli who introduced the principle of the minimum wage 9 euros an hour as a mandatory criterion for any procurement of works or services”.

Leonardo Agrellaa postal employee, focused on the “safeguarding of civil rights and the fight against discrimination”, on school with the implementation of the walking bus, the extension of study classroom hours and on “parks as open classrooms”.

Change has happened in recent months, not just at a local level. We discussed the topics and easily found one programmatic convergence. I’m really happy. In a few months we will govern the city together”.

Convergence that didn’t happen with Claudio Capponcini and other historical exponents of the Cesena M5Swho, in a note sent to the newspapers shortly before the press conference, highlighted how “Cesena’s M5S was born in 2008 from a few courageous people, above all disappointed by the power system established by the Democratic Party which has governed the city for over 50 years, determined with the aim of making the municipal machine more transparent, efficient and closer to citizens”. Hence the question: “What is left of the roots made of transparency, legality and bottom-up democracy?”.
The internal dissent was pointed out by the journalists present. “From 2022 there is one written statute – replied the former five-star senator Gabriele Lanzi – and the president Giuseppe Conte has appointed coordinators. It is legitimate to have different positions, but those who do not accept the rules of the new course is out”.
