Forlì. The M5s presents its list in support of the centre-left candidate Graziano Rinaldini

«Together with many militants we rebuilt the movement in Forlì after the abandonment of the historical leaders, doing a lot of work to transform the M5s from a protest movement into a movement of proposal». Thus the coordinator of the territorial group of the Five Star Movement, Sergio Petroncini, launches the electoral campaign in view of the vote next June and presents the shortlist of M5S candidates. «A group made up of many new faces, but also old candidates – underlines Petroncini -. We can make our contribution to a solid, modern and progressive program. We had to overcome old grievances, even with allied political forces, but joining the center-left coalition is the right choice today for a change of gear as Forlì deserves more.” In short, for the Five Star Movement there is a need for discontinuity not only with today’s administration, but also with those of the past. Unlike what is happening in other Italian situations, Pd and M5s have found a solution in Forlì. «This is not a structural and national alliance with the Democratic Party, but a territorial agreement in the progressive area – clarifies Marco Croatti, senator and regional coordinator of the M5s -. The flagship of this agreement is precisely the civic candidate, who will find in the M5s a reliable and supportive team now, but also later. There is great enthusiasm around this project.” In conclusion, the mayoral candidate Graziano Rinaldini himself recalls: «I am not organic to politics, except as a single militant. I make available my expertise acquired over the years of work. A long discussion was held with the M5S and the other political forces in working groups involving 250 people and from which a gigantic program was born, which we are now working to streamline and make more usable.
