50 year old man found dead in an abandoned warehouse

A 50-year-old man was found lifeless in an abandoned warehouse in the Via Rose area of Brescia. The tragic discovery was made on Friday 19 April by some friends who hadn’t heard from the 50-year-old for several days: he couldn’t be seen around, he didn’t answer calls, so they went to look for him within the abandoned walls of the former factory, a few steps of the Mella, where they knew he had found shelter to spend the nights.

A medical vehicle, an ambulance, the police and the firefighters arrived on site. However, the 118 health workers were only able to confirm the death of the man – originally from Senegal – which, according to the first investigations carried out, had occurred days earlier.

The death would have occurred from natural causes: struck down by illness or drug abuse. The first post-mortem investigations would have in fact excluded any responsibility of third parties, given that there were no obvious signs of violence on the body. But it will be the autopsy and toxicological tests, ordered by the magistrate on duty, that will shed full light on the causes of death and establish exactly when the 50-year-old took his last breath.
