Korean cinema stops in Carpi between films and TV series

Discovering the society and culture of South Korea through cinema (and TV series) lessons, seasoned with film screenings. This is what the Loria library offers from 3 to 5 May with Korean Wave – Korean cinema in Carpi.

The event includes, on Friday 3 May, at 9pm, and on Saturday 4 May, at 3pm, two cinema (and TV series) lessons held by Caterina Liveranifilm critic who has been collaborating with the Florence Korea Film Fest since 2015 and is one of the authors of the volume Korea Shock. South Korea’s new horror cinema (ed. Profondo Rosso, 2023). Furthermore, three film screenings are scheduled, in the original language with subtitles: starting on Saturday 4 May, at 5pm, with A taxi driver Of Jang Hoon (2017), which will follow at 9pm Train to Busan Of Yeon Sang-ho (2016), prohibited for children under 14 years of age. Finally, Sunday 5 May at 4.30pm will be the turn of Burning Of Lee Chang-dong (2018), based on the short story Barns burned Of Haruki Murakami.

All events are at the Loria Auditorium with free entry, subject to availability.
