The Tesei council asked the third council commission to express its opinion on the proposed calendar for the selection hunt in Umbria in 2024/2025.
For them to be official, the opinion of the third council commission is still missingbut it is very unlikely that in the 2024/2025 season the dates for the selection hunt in Umbria will differ from those vote by the regional council on the proposal of councilor Roberto Morroni, who also directed the session in the absence of president Donatella Tesei.
Unless changes are made in the last stepboth the boar, the roe deer, the deer, and the fallow deer they will be huntable five days a week, even in the snow, from one hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset; the use of lead-free ammunition is recommended, but not mandatory.
The timetable for wild boar hunting is simple: starting on 1 June 2024 and ending on 30 April 2025. More detailed the one for cervidsfor which the council has foreseen different dates depending on the sex and age groups.

- Females and babies: 1 January – 16 March 2025

- Adult and subadult males: 2 October 2024 – 16 February 2025
- Young males: 1st-31st August, 2nd October 2024 – 16th February 2025
