Giro d’Italia, arrival in Cento expected after 5pm

Yesterday RCS also made official the times of the Cento stage of the Giro d’Italia, stage number 13 which will arrive on May 17th ending with a hypothetical sprint where via Ferrarese crosses via Sant’Orsano. From Riccione to Cento there are therefore 179 km to cycle, starting at 1pm and arriving in Cento between 5.04pm and 5.26pm, calculating an average travel speed of between 46 and 42 km/h, placing the sign on the bridge of the 2 km at the end and the red triangle of the last km just before Piazzale Bonzagni. The advertising caravan, however, with the sponsor vehicles stopping at the finish line for a moment of celebration and distribution of gadgets, will pass around an hour earlier than the time calculated on the highest average and therefore, around 4pm. It will be active from 14 instead, the Bonzagni Parking Village, with a giant screen, games in the various sponsor stands, attractions and gifts. And now all the locations reached are also made known: Riccione, Sant’Arcangelo di Romagna, Savignano, Budrio, Cesena, Forlimpopoli, Forlì, Villanova (flying finish line), Faenza, Granarolo, Bagnacavallo, Lugo (intergiro finish line), SASnt’Agata on the Santerno, Massa Lombarda, Conselice (flying finish line) Sweeps Sassatelli, Sant’Antonio, Molinella, Baricella, Altedo, San Pietro in Casale, Pieve di Cento and Cento.
