The Trani 2 Scout Group is pleased to announce its twentieth anniversary, a significant milestone which will be celebrated with an extraordinary event entitled “20 years of relationships”.
The event will take place at the Santa Maria delle Grazie Parish in Trani, headquarters of the Group, and will be an opportunity to bring together old and new generations of Scouts in two unforgettable days.
Born in 2004 by Don Tommaso Palmieri, Trani 2 has continued its activities towards the community uninterruptedly since then. In order to celebrate this important milestone, also thanks to the support of its Ecclesiastical Assistant Don Vincenzo Giannico, the Trani 2 Scout Group will organize a real Scout City, an extraordinary event that reflects the spirit of community, friendship and commitment that characterized the Group in these twenty years of activity.
The Scout City will be the place where boys and girls will be able to demonstrate their skills through a series of practical activities, participate in thematic workshops and admire a photographic exhibition that will tell the story and highlights of the Trani 2 Scout Group.
One of the most significant moments of the event will be the renewal of the Promise by all members of the Group, a symbolic gesture that confirms everyone’s commitment to contributing to making the world a better place through their own good deeds. This moment of reflection and sharing will be an opportunity to strengthen bonds within the community and renew your commitment to the fundamental values of Scouting.
“20 years of relationships” will also be an opportunity to recall the good moments of the past, meet old friends and create new memories to share with future generations. The Scout City organized by the Trani 2 Scout Group will be a tribute to the dream of Lord Baden Powell, the founder of scouting; an embodiment of the values of friendship, solidarity and community service that characterize the Scouting movement.
