Bergamo, missing 17 year old found by the police: reported by her parents

Bergamo. The 17-year-old girl identified by a police patrol during some checks in the station area had been missing for a few days. The intuition of an officer was providential, as he noticed the young woman while she, alone, was wandering near the railway yard.

From checking the documents it emerged that the 17-year-old, from Bergamo, had escaped a few days earlier from a community for minors in Emilia Romagna where, as she said, she was not feeling well. At the end of the filing, the girl was accompanied home by her parents who, after much apprehension, were able to hug her again.

The operation falls within the scope of the intensified controls of the territory, prevention and public safety, also taking into account the international situation. In the last week two different services were carried out in joint mode with the other Police Forces focused in particular on area that includes the Bergamo railway, the bus lines, the TEB station, Piazzale degli Alpini, Piazzale della Malpensata, Via Bonomelli and the neighboring Via Paglia.

During the two services, a total of 241 people were checked and identified, of which 97 with police records, resulting in the notification of various documents including a rejection of a residence permit.

Two public businesses were also checked and two people were investigated, one for damage and one for attempted robbery, while a
provision of oral warning from the Police Commissioner and a warning.
