ROVIGO – Il Rovigo May, from the 3rd to the 30th, returns to networking between cultural realities: also in the seventh edition it welcomes the challenges of the 2030 Agenda for sustainable development and focuses on gender equality. The theme will be developed by all the over 50 music, information, literature, theater and exhibition events, organized by more than 20 Rovigo entities committed to promoting culture against all discrimination, they explained to Nodari palace the president of Foundation for the development of Polesine, Elisabetta Lorenzetti, and the artistic director Zoe Pia. The social value of this edition is also in equal opportunities. This gives rise to events such as the “green concert” on May 17th at the therapeutic community of Corte Guazzo in Adria; then in Rovigo, the Concert in the dark by maestro Ruggero Livieri at the church of San Domenico, on May 26th at 8.30 pm; and on Saturday 25th, at 9.30pm in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, the tribute to Lucio Dalla “Ex dust. Being in the world”, which together with the students of the Pop Department of the Rovigo conservatory, with the special participation of Zoe Pia, will see on stage alongside Paolo Piermattei, historic collaborator of the Bolognese singer-songwriter, also Professor Enrica Sabato, teacher and interpreter of Sign Language. Dalla’s songs will be performed with arrangements by pianist Roberto De Nittis.

Among the new features are the reflective walks: on May 18th with the event, from 10am to 6.30pm, “Journey along the Adigetto between tradition and art” organized by the Teradamar association, with a botanical watercolor workshop, then on the 19th the urban walk promoted by the National Dog League with Plastic Free. Unpublished, on the 24th, the appointment that Istat, Cur, the provincial school office and the University of Ferrara will dedicate to digital training and protection of the person and their dignity online (from 3pm at Palazzo Angeli), then the cultural initiative “Bonifica H24” (until 7pm on Saturday 25th) with the Adige Po Consortium to illustrate the activities to guarantee hydraulic safety, irrigation and ecosystem services in Piazza Garibaldi and Palazzo Bonanome-Ravenna.
