Velletri, green week at the Zarfati school

The “Green Week” in the Zarfati complex, promoted by the Gino Felci institute as part of the National project, ended on 19 April. During this school week, entire days were spent in the name of collaboration, responsibility and sustainable education, with laboratory activities and educational insights on environmental issues. Specifically, the week of the Rosita Zarfati plexus was focused on an entirely GREEN perspective, with the carrying out of interactive, captivating and scheduled activities. On Monday, the fourth grade students welcomed the young students of the Masih nursery school, who shared a healthy green snack, bread and oil, in the school garden; the picnic ended with the planting of seeds in souvenir pots that the kindergarten students brought to their school. On Wednesday 17th, however, the students had the honor of knowing and hearing the direct testimony of Massimiliano Ossini, to delve deeper into the theme of safeguarding biodiversity and to fully appreciate everything that surrounds us. To conclude this week, on Friday, the third classes attended the lesson “Marine Biodiversity” held by Prof. Marco Forgetta, accompanied by Prof. Paola Faleni, teachers of the “C. Cardinals”. The kindergarten students today, however, also shared the same healthy and green snack, bread and native oil.

Last but not least, a container of used batteries was placed and made available to the complex to be then taken to the municipal collection centre.

With the hope that the students have internalized all the teachings received from the various activities proposed in order to make them more aware of the importance of protecting the environment.
