PESARO – The heavens would have opened and Armageddon would have arrived, with fireballs hitting children. Thus a man terrorized his little ones in the context of a failed marital relationship. This is the complicated story of a separation that ended up before the judges with cross-complaints from husband and wife. The children’s mother, a 42-year-old from Puglia, had reported her husband for mistreatment in the family. A trial that has already reached the appeal sentence resulting in a 2-year sentence for the man who was also forced to attend a course for abusive men. But he had sued the woman for child abduction (the couple’s two children) and the other day there was the sentence in Pesaro before the single judge.

Due to the separation with her husband, who would no longer pay maintenance, in the summer of 2022 the woman was forced to leave the joint house she had with her ex, until returning to Puglia to her parents’ home, for reasons economical. And he had brought his two children with him. And this is where the man’s complaint arose.

He had also gone so far as to threaten his children who frequented the world of Jehovah’s Witnesses less and less, due to their mother’s distancing from the faith. In the courtroom the woman reported what her ex-husband would say to her children to scare them away from her. That is, they would be burned by fireballs because of the woman who stopped bringing them to the Kingdom Hall. She also cited Armageddon to scare them into saying she wasn’t a good mother. In the courtroom, however, the accused, defended by the lawyer Elena Fabbri, contested all the accusations and reported the chats that she exchanged with the 40-year-old, demonstrating how the latter was aware of all the woman’s movements. Not only that, she would have even known the street of her in-laws’ house which had hosted the woman and the two children. So no subtraction, just a state of necessity. Reason why the judge acquitted the woman because the fact does not exist.
