Conti saves by three votes. Earthquake in the majority
Descriptive text here

Councilor Maria Rosa Conti was saved from no confidence by just three votes. And it was the PD who saved her, while the rest of the majority or a large part of it – between those who abstained and those who were not present at the vote – gave the signal that they wanted to dump her. It is the first real break in the majority of Ricci’s second mandate and, in many ways, it is sensational. It was well known that the relations between councilors Belloni and Conti were bad, but those who abstained on the motion of no confidence presented by the centre-right against Conti herself were not only the councilors of Belloni’s group (Castellani and Leonardi) but also those of the list of mayor “Pesaro un gran bel po’“ (Thomas Nobili and Laura Biagiotti); the 5 Stars (July) and finally also Sperindei (mixed group, former 5 Stars). A small political earthquake that will have repercussions on Andrea Biancani and the construction of his coalition: bringing everyone together – the Greens, Belloni and the others – has been more difficult since yesterday. The motion of no confidence was presented by the centre-right – Lega, Prima c’è Pesaro, Fratelli d’Italia, Gruppo Misto -, but it uncorked Pandora’s box in the centre-left. Castellani, from a City in the Municipality, explained the vote: “The repeated criticisms, questionable in merit and above all in method, by councilor Conti against councilor Belloni, within the scope of his delegations, push us to abstain”.
