Tenth edition and many changes. The Carlo Pucci Prize, established to honor the memory of Carlo Pucci, from this year opens to all faculties of architecture and civil engineering on the national territory, and will manage the registrations and delivery of the requested documentation directly from the Premiocarlopucci.it website in the specific dedicated section.
The mission of promoting excellence in the design arts by recognizing and rewarding remains unchanged young new graduates so that they actively participate in the debate on transformation of the territory.
The degree theses presented, as in the last edition, are required to grasp and express the relationship of continuity between the memory that the sites preserve and contemporary creativity through new ways of experiencing the territories in light of the challenges of our time.
Competition themes
Conservation, enhancement and innovation of the architectural and landscape heritage of Tuscany. History as a generative requirement, planning as a projection towards the future.

- Integrated environmental design, oriented towards sustainability and technological innovation.
- Architectural and urban design for the health and well-being of people and communities.
- Design for the regeneration of existing architectural and landscape heritage.
PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS AND APPLICATIONS
Participation in the competition is reserved for all citizens of the European Union who have obtained, individually or in groups, a Master’s Degree or single-cycle Master’s Degree from the Degree courses in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Planning and Design of the city and the territory, Building-Architecture Engineering and Civil-Building-Environmental Engineering.
The works presented must have been the subject of degree theses supported after 01/01/2019.
Requested documents
- explanatory report (approximately 3500 characters) UNI A4
- 3 tables (free composition)
- a video presentation of the project (optional) lasting a maximum of 3 minutes
- a presentation in .pdf format containing a maximum of n. 20 pages
Press
- 1st prize: 2,000 euros
- 2nd prize: 1,500 euros
- 3rd prize: 1,000 euros
The award and award ceremony will take place on 16 November 2024.
