The Castle opens its doors for a secret visit

On April 21, 2024, Moncalieri Castle opens its doors for a secret visit to the inaccessible spaces.
The initiative, implemented thanks to the Friends of the Royal Castle and Moncalieri Park Association, includes a guided tour to explore the royal apartments and admire the splendid rooms of the New Apartment, commissioned by Vittorio Emanuele II in the nineteenth century.

A journey immersed in frescoes, chandeliers and overdoors that tell stories of power and tradition, until arriving in the office of the Commander of the 1st Carabinieri Regiment “Piedmont”.

At the end of the experience you will taste a selection of 19th century spirits, in particular vermouth, in the company of the re-enactors of “Le vie del tempo”.

The next visits are scheduled for April 21st, May 26th and June 23rd, with different time slots to meet all needs.
The cost of participation is only €5 per person, with free entry for children under 6 years old.

The Secret Castle is one of the oldest of the Piedmontese Savoy Residences, which has become a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was among the favorite residences of Vittorio Emanuele II.
