Andrea Colpani was the absolute protagonist of the first part of Monza’s season. Six goals in the first twelve days, then he took his foot off the accelerator, with a decline that led him to score only two more in the next twenty. It is likely that his performance is closer to the center than to the two extremes, but he has reached the threshold of the national team. In the last period he has found continuity in the minutes played, however almost always playing as a starter.
The situation
Colpani has a very long contract, until 2028, so we will have to talk to Monza. All the big teams have seen it, with Inter and Juventus who were very interested before the January transfer window. He could be an option for Atalanta in the event of Koopmeiners’ departure, also because he would be useful for the lists. However, the valuation is around 20 million euros.

Colpani, however, wants to think only about the present. “I don’t think about transfer rumors at all. I’m only focused on the present and on doing my best for the team.
