Shock in a shopping center in the province of Treviso, where the employee of a parapharmacy was found lying in a lake of blood. Two customers of the shop made the shocking discovery, who immediately called for help. The young woman, still alive, was rushed to the emergency room, but her condition is very critical. The police are still trying to understand what happened to her.
The reconstruction
According to reports from The Gazzettino, which is following the story, the episode dates back to the afternoon of March 20th. Two customers entered the “È Qui” parapharmacy, located inside the IperTosano shopping center in Colle Umberto (Treviso) and there they made the dramatic discovery. The 34-year-old was lying on the ground behind the shop counter Martina Peruzzaemployed as a pharmacist.
The young woman was almost unconscious, so the two customers immediately contacted the emergency services. The 118 health workers reached the area and transported the 34-year-old to the emergency room in Conegliano. Next, consider the serious conditions where the woman was, the transfer to Ca’ Foncello in Treviso was arranged. Of concern, two clearly visible bruises that the young woman had on her head. The doctors decided to operate on her urgently in a desperate attempt to save her life and for days it was a tough fight for survival.
The doctors’ treatment eventually led to an improvement. Martina Peruzza was subsequently transferred to the center in Motta di Livenza (Treviso), where she is undergoing complex rehabilitation, both motor and neurological. The effects of what she suffered were very serious, so much so that the young woman, once she woke up, began to speak only English. The probable consequence of the severe head trauma reported.
The mystery
Martina Peruzza’s family, naturally, is waiting for answers. The young woman, her relatives assure, enjoyed excellent health. Rather than an illness or an accidental fall, the most followed hypothesis is that ofaggression. Moreover, a few days earlier, again at IperTosano, a man had lost control, scaring the people in the shopping centre, and the intervention of the police had been necessary, even forcing them to use a taser. The 34-year-old, therefore, could have been attacked, perhaps during a robbery.
Questioned by her family and the investigators, the young woman, who now only speaks English, remembers nothing of what happened to her. It will therefore be up to the police to reconstruct the dynamics of the affair, attempting to trace the possible perpetrators.
“Martina’s conditions are criticisms. The problem is that we can’t understand what could have happened. Our fear is that the young woman was attacked, or that someone threatened her and perhaps in the heat of the moment she tripped and hit her head“, he tells the Gazette a relative. “Last Saturday afternoon, in the same store, a foreign citizen had caused panic and in the end the police had to use the taser. Martina was alone when the event occurred. We hope that viewing the camera footage will shed light on what happened“, he adds.
The case is being handled by the carabinieri which however have not yet found any elements relating to the involvement of other people.
The mystery therefore remains about the matter.
