Organized by International Federation of Pastry, Ice Cream and Chocolate (FIPGC)the championship saw the award ceremony of the new national champions during the Gala evening held yesterday, Thursday 11 September, in CastelBrando di Cison di Valmarino (TV), in the heart of the UNESCO Heritage area.

The service and hospitality shown by the Beltrame students during the Gala was impeccable, offering those present a privileged overview of the area’s excellent products, describing the great food and wine of the Veneto region, from appetizers to desserts.

“It was a wonderful event, a result that we achieved thanks to the many sponsors who supported us – declares the manager Letizia CavalliniOrganizing the 6th edition of the National Pastry Championship was certainly an honor but also a burden that required great energy and resources. The territory has shown that it has understood the importance of this event by concretely supporting us, as in the case of Irinox, Electrolux Professional and Lainox, which provided us with very important technical equipment such as ovens and blast chillers, essential tools for pastry making. On behalf of all Beltrame, I congratulate the boys of the Azuni Institute of Cagliari to whom we pass the baton and the honor of organizing the 7th national championship”.

Great success also for the live social broadcast of the entire championship broadcast on the social channels of the Beltrame Institute which exceeded 5,000 views.

Finally, a great novelty of this edition, the “1st Sweet and Savory Pastry Festival of the Prosecco Hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene” was established, an initiative created with the specific objective of enhancing local and artisanal pastry making which, in fact, has known to “gently” describe a territory that has always been capable of making its excellent productions unique.
