Descriptive text here

With a display of black and white blow-ups, Adrenalina documents a cultural project: a historic collection of the company’s sofas and armchairs has entered the Remo Brindisi House Museum in Comacchio (FE), a manifesto of the integration of the arts, desired by the well-known artist to house his collection of modern and contemporary works.

A true homage from Adrenalina to the master Remo Brindisi, who strongly believed in the mix of artistic disciplines and eclecticism. On the occasion of Adrenalina’s first Fuorisalone, the brand chooses to talk about this experiment in design and artistic creation in the spaces of the suggestive Garage in Viale Gorizia within the collective Design Variations.

“Adrenalina meets Remo Brindisi” is part of a rebranding process that started in 2023 with Debonademeo, art director of the company since 2020. The total white architecture of the House Museum, built by the artist between 1971 and 1973 with the designer and architect Nanda Vigo hosts a selection of Adrenalina icons in absolute white which, without peaks of prominence, dialogue with this extraordinary architecture. The brand is known until now for its bold colors, but opts for the absence of color, as a stylistic choice to highlight the essence of the sign of its pieces.

Even the human figures, represented in the images – the shots are by Mauro Foli with graphic processing by the VZN studio – as in the works of Remo Brindisi, are dark silhouettes whose vaguely performative movements seem to echo the architectural lines and design details of the furnishings. The gallery of photographic blow-ups will be the backdrop to real products to touch and sit in. Visitors to Design Week will therefore experience a visual and sensorial journey where art, architecture and design come together in a single story of progress and innovation.

Remo Brindisi House Museum – Twentieth century art & design

Immersed in the pine forest of Lido di Spina, the Remo Brindisi House Museum was built between 1968 and 1973 by the painter Remo Brindisi. It is a place with a unique character because it has combined, since its creation, the functions of a holiday home, a contemporary art museum open to all, an artist’s studio, and a place for cultural events. The extraordinary architecture of the museum is the work of the architect-designer Nanda Vigo. Brindisi and Vigo collaborated with the intention of creating, with this museum, an experiment-manifesto of “integration of the arts” (architecture, design, sculpture, painting) and of everyday life lived with art. By Brindisi’s will, today the structure has become a civic museum. It preserves an important collection of contemporary art, especially from the second half of the twentieth century, a large library, a historical archive on the activity of Brindisi and the museum, as well as elements of furniture and designer furnishings and minor collections.

Adrenaline profile

Since its inception, the Adrenalina brand has boldly embraced a precise mission: to challenge conventions by creating design objects that seem to come from the future, inspiring dreams and worlds yet to be explored. Adrenalina has collaborated over the years with Italian and foreign designers. Since 2022 the artistic direction has been entrusted to the Italian duo Debonademeo.
