«Our will regarding the former Suzuki property is to go and recover the property through demolition and reconstruction – the Brardinellis intervene firmly – but within what is a sales project, because as owners we are not building contractors. There is more than one negotiation underway in the multiple guise of a residential or mixed residential-commercial destination. It is true that for 25 years the property has been trying to remedy this implementation plan which was not feasible in its primary indications, and wants to give credit to councilor Mila Della Dora, and to the Urban Planning Office, who found a solution that allows you to implement the investment independently. We reiterate it again – conclude the Brandinellis – the desire is not to keep this property abandoned to itself. The existing volumes correspond to those that we will create with a significantly smaller building site.”
The variant
The variant, which divides the building area into four sub-sections, will be voted on in the city council tomorrow afternoon, starting at 2pm. And it will be preceded by a flash mob that the Soria committee has organized for today in the area subject to the urban transformations, with particular attention to the green area between via Agostini and Lungofoglia Caboto, where residential construction is planned. In the last meeting the committee reiterated that among the points requested in the document sent to the Municipality, with 1000 signatures attached, before the second council meeting, only one was accepted: the elimination of the closure of Lungofoglia Caboto and the via link road Augustines. But there are others, starting from the cancellation of construction in the green area, which have remained excluded. And he anticipated that if the resolution passes the assembly, an appeal to the TAR will be considered.
