Giovanni Barreca, the bricklayer from Altavilla Milicia (Palermo) who, together with two religious fanatics, allegedly killed his wife and two of their three children during an exorcism, defends himself from prison. If up until now he had somehow defended the two, Sabrina Fina And Massimo Carandentenow instead he accuses them and claims that he limited himself to praying, adding that he has never used violence against his family.

The man, in prison, told his lawyer Giancarlo Barracato that the situation would have worsened with the intervention of Carandente and Fina, who intervened to free the victims from the devil. The bricklayer clears her 15-year-old daughter, under investigation for the triple murder, of the crimes, while recognizing her particular “ability to sense the presence of the devil”.
