The permanent tourism consultancy of the Municipality of Terni has been reactivated, the decision was made by the municipal council on Monday with 24 votes in favor and 2 abstentions. The organisation, created years ago, «was created to activate a permanent structure of participation, discussion and coordination between all local actors directly interested in tourism, create a strategic system for the sector aimed at strengthening the integration of activities, public synergies -private and the general development of tourism in all its forms”.
Consult tourism But how does this organism work? Coordinating the work of the assembly, with decision-making tasks, is the Tourism councilor, therefore Michela Bordoni. The executive committee, on the other hand, is a direct emanation of the assembly to which it assigns areas and objectives. In particular, the committee is called to delve into significant sector issues, submits to the assembly the topics of significant interest emerging from the meetings, as well as their possible scheduling by the council and the municipal council. Representatives of hotel associations, travel agency associations, trade associations, tour operators, traders and restaurateurs can join the assembly through the appointment of representatives of the most representative associations.
Youth council There is still time to register for the youth consultation. Dedicated to girls and boys aged 16 to 32, it is an organization made up of young people from the area who will develop projects, analyzes and make proposals to the municipal administration on youth policies.
