Thanks to the bright sun and temperatures around 25 degrees, today (Saturday 13 April) the beach in Rimini experienced an early summer.
As reported by Ansa, there are many people from Rimini but also “foreigners” who have come to the Riviera, especially from the cities of nearby Emilia and Lombardy for a meal of fish and a piadina, to walk on the woods of the Parco del Mare or to lie down on a sunbed or on a towel to get some sun on the beach.
The historic center between the renovated Galli Theater and the Fellini Museum is also crowded on market day.
Several running enthusiasts also arrived in the city for the Rimini Marathon – with a halved edition for this year, the Rimini Half Marathon – whose village, usually set up in the center in front of the famous ‘Arco d’Augusto’, is hosted at Club Del Sole a stone’s throw from the sea.
Still on the sporting front, until Monday Rimini hosts the Grand Départ Trophy, displayed in the foyer of the Galli Theater in view of the Romagna passage of the ‘Tour de France’ while nearby Misano, today and tomorrow, is the scene of Formula E with two races scheduled at the Misano World Circuit
