Ancona, 1 April 2024 – After Easter and Easter Monday, once the many feasts of chocolate and grilled eggs are over, what could be better than going to some festival or fair in the Marche? Ancona
The Feast of Fools it is an event that has managed to win the hearts of the community of Corinaldo, but not only. For 11 editions now, in fact, there have been many people who have decided to take part in this “crazy” event. This year the event will be held from 25 to 28 April and will see, as always, the activities that everyone likes most, such as the Crazy Run, a non-competitive race characterized by launch of natural colored powders, 100% non-toxic and biodegradable, or the Passport of the Fool, where with a simple test you can make your crazy status official, complete with an official document and annual certification. Pesaro and Urbino
From 5 to 7 Aprilto Fermignanothe 58th edition of the Palio della Rana. The event recalls the autonomy from Urbino obtained on 28 September 1607, when the “Municipal Council” was established, made up of 24 councillors, 10 chosen in the “Castle” and the others in the surrounding “Villas”. The inhabitants of the “Castle” and the “Ville” celebrated the event during the “Domenica in Albis”, Sunday after Easter, with popular games, as the sack race, the breaking of the piñatas, the maypole and, indeed, the race of the frogs in the wheelbarrow. The tradition is respected through the historical re-enactment, the procession of figures, the medieval games, the flag-wavers and the Grand Master of the Field who will start the race. What also remains intact is the rich program that will enliven Fermignano from Friday to Sunday.
Macerata
The “saveurs de France”, i.e. the flavors of France: they will be the protagonists in this edition of French Regional Market which will be held from 19 to 21 April 2024 in Piazza Libertà and Piazza Vittorio Veneto in Macerata. There are many food and wine delicacies present, all rigorously of French quality and tradition: over 80 types of cheeses, a wide range of wines from the wine regions beyond the Alps, Breton biscuits with 20 varieties of filling, a large variety of typical chocolates, baguettes and freshly baked croissants and crêpes and macarons will be just some of the aromas and delights that can be savored during these three days dedicated to French cuisine. And not only that, because to accompany the more “greedy” activities there will also be markets typical products for home and body care, such as lavender and essential oils, soaps, perfumes, make-up and Provencal tablecloths. In short, for all tastes.
Ascoli Piceno
“What a mess there was! Blessed Spring” is the slogan of the twentieth edition of Mixed Fried, the crunchiest event there is. This year the event will be scheduled for Ascoli Picenoin the very central and historic area Arringo Squarefrom the 19 to 28 April 2024. Over ten days, in the city of the legendary Ascoli olive, around 30 chefs will take turns presenting the most varied Italian gastronomic traditions dedicated to frying: from Ascoli olives, to Apulian panzerotti, to Modenese fried gnocco, to Sicilian arancini and cannoli, to legendary Neapolitan cuoppo with “grown pasta”, zeppole and macaroni omelette, fried pizza, Abruzzo cheese, fried fish from the Adriatic Sea. For the twentieth anniversary, Fritto Misto will create a celebratory craft beer that will be delivered free to all those who purchase the ticket online.
