Immediately afterwards, Gianluigi Nuzzi distanced himself: “This is black humour, which is starkly antithetical to a journalist”. Now the reaction of the woman’s brother, Pietro Orlandi, has also arrived.
Pietro Orlandi absolves Fedez for laughing
Reached by Adnkronos, Peter Orlandi did not seem particularly hurt by Fedez’s reaction and his irony on the disappearance of Emanuela, dated June 22, 1983. “It was definitely out of place and I was a little sorry” he said, only to acquit him.

“Fedez has sinned by immaturity in having that laugh – underlined Pietro Orlandi – To each of us, as kids, must have escaped a laugh during a funeralI try to take it that way.” Bitterly, then, she admitted that she had heard nastiness and things said in bad faith in recent years, “much worse than a laugh in that circumstance”.
Investigations reopened: the London trail is back
The reason why Fedez found himself talking about Emanuela Orlandi is also linked to the fact that in recent days the case has made a comeback, thanks to the Vatican’s decision to reopen the investigation on his disappearance.
His brother Pietro also declared that he was in contact with a person informed about the story of his sister, who disappeared in Rome on June 22, 1983, when she was only 15 years oldand thus reopened the so-called London track.
The anonymous source would have “interesting” information about it and would have provided unpublished documents on the situation in London. An alleged person had spoken about this track for the first time former secret agent of SISMIknown as Lone wolfwho stated in 2011 that Emanuela Orlandi would be alive and in one asylum in England.
