In the square together to greet 2025 and welcome the new year. Many, despite the biting cold, decided to spend New Year’s Eve like this, reaching Piazza della Libertà for the musical New Year’s Eve show organized this year by Mediaset and broadcast live on Canale 5.
Gigi D’Alessio and the other artists on stage
The show will be hosted by Federica Panicucci with Fabio Rovazzi on the large stage set up between the Piccinni and the Prefecture building. Numerous artists on stage: in addition to Gigi D’Alessio, Umberto Tozzi, Raf, The Kolors, Sarah Toscano, Baby K, Fred De Palma, Riccardo Fogli and Iva Zanicchi. And again Mietta, Mida, Federica Abbate, Tony Maiello, Alessio Bernabei, I Desideri, Petit, Mew, Young Hash, Vida Loca, Cioffi, Eddie Brock.
The event, organized with the support of the Puglia Region, is also broadcast live on the frequencies of Radio 101 and Radio Norba, the program’s partner radio.
The organization and access to the square
This year, in the concert area, a staircase has also been set up for the public, in addition to the standing room in the space in front of the stage. Two gates have been set up for access to the concert area, with free entry until the maximum capacity (around 5 thousand people) established by the Prefecture for security reasons is reached. A platform has also been set up under the steps reserved for people with disabilities, with free access while seats last, from the entrance in Corso Vittorio Emanuele – Teatro Margherita side.
Security checks
To ensure safety, checks on bags and backpacks have been set up at the entrance. Glass bottles, cans, metal water bottles, blunt objects, pepper spray or other potentially dangerous objects are not permitted in the concert area.
The public transport plan
To allow citizens to reach the center to attend the concert using public transport, Amtab has put in place a special plan with night bus runs and extraordinary openings of park & rides.
