Lucio Presta blasts Amadeus: “He did something unacceptable”

Lucio Presta speaks across the board from the stage of the Dogliani TV Festival, in the Cuneo area, where the television entertainment agent is one of the program’s star guests. And he has something for everyone: Amadeus and Stefano De Martino above all. The separation that has made the most noise in recent months, needless to say, is the one with Amadeus. Some time ago Presta told his version of events in an interview with Il Giornale which caused a lot of discussion. «I did it by waiting for times and ways, respecting the company, respecting Amadeus, and waiting for Sanremo to end – said Presta – Amedeo, who I respect very much from a professional point of view, did something that is not done even with someone who hurt you. He went to my homeland, Calabria, to the New Year’s Eve presentation and said “Lucio Presta knows what he did”. I couldn’t accept a sentence like that. Words that hurt my honor. So I wanted to explain how things went. What if we talk? No, but I also haven’t read anything to correct what I said. There is only one way to avoid being proven wrong: to tell the truth.”

Stefano De Martino is also at the center of his interests. And the manager from Cosenza dedicates a jab to the former dancer, now a very popular face of Rai. «I told Freccero, then director of Rai2, to take Stefano for ‘Stasera tutto è possibiliè’, which Pintus was initially supposed to host. ‘You’ll see that you’ll feel better with him,’ I told him. I was a good prophet.” Four years ago De Martino left Presta’s Arcobaleno Tre to join the Caschetto team: «I said what I had to say to Stefano. We met one day at a presentation of the schedules. I told him ‘whoever cheats once, always cheats in life. It will be the turn of others.”
