As the director of tgLa7, Enrico Mentanaat the end of the 8pm edition, reports to the viewers – as announced at the opening of the news – on the exchange he had with Lilli Gruber which arose from an overrun of the news time which had delayed the start of the ‘Eight and a half’ programme.
Mentana, after having read the note released this morning by the company, reiterates that he `subscribes to it’ and specifies: «I have still read in many places today about «a quarter of an hour of overrun. The news never lasts more than 5 minutes – he assures – and in fact as regards last Monday it was 5 minutes more than the previous Monday, 2 minutes more than the one before that, 3 minutes more than April 15th, and on April 8th it was even exactly the same time of duration and conclusion of the news program”. “And that’s all, there’s nothing else to add – concludes the director of TgLa7 – so we’re not accusing anyone, we don’t want to be accused, have fun.”
