Between Tuscany, private choices and civil commitment, the former partner of the Cavaliere and Paola Turci talks about the present.
Francesca Pascale starts from herself and does so by putting order in the story of her life, public and private.
After years of living in the spotlight for her relationship with Silvio Berlusconi and her marriage to Paola Turci, today Pascale chooses a more direct tone, without discounts but also without fanfare.
In a recent interview, Pascale defined her relationship with Turci as “a toxic relationship”, explaining that it was a bond born in a moment of personal fragility. “It was a nail-crusher,” he admitted, clarifying how the end of the story came when he realized he no longer recognized himself in that dynamic. A statement that has caused discussion, but which is part of a broader discussion of awareness and self-criticism.
Today Francesca Pascale lives in Tuscany, in the province of Siena, in a farmhouse surrounded by nature. A precise choice, told with simplicity: «I needed silence and truth». Far from the Roman living rooms, she divides her days between taking care of the house, her numerous dogs and a daily life that she claims is finally balanced.
The Berlusconi chapter remains central in its history. Pascale has never denied that bond and continues to speak about it with respect: «Silvio was a fundamental part of my life». A relationship which, although concluded, left a profound mark on both a personal and political level.
And politics itself, although outside the official roles, remains in the background. Francesca continues to speak out on civil rights issues, participates in Pride events and intervenes in the public debate with clear positions, without nostalgia but with a sense of belonging.
