After 9 years of marriage, the Oscar-winning star Mel Gibson and the screenwriter Rosalind Ross have decided to make their separation official, which occurred a year ago, with a divorce. The two share an 8-year-old son, Lars.
Through a joint statement released to People, Mel Gibson and Rosalind Ross have communicated their intention to divorce: “Although it is sad to close this chapter of our lives, we are blessed with a wonderful son and will continue to be the best parents possible” reads the statement released by both.
