Fedez, the new single is out: in ‘Sexy Shop’ the outburst on Chiara Ferragni

“You were like a jackpot in the slots/And then you knocked me out/You say I’m a bastard/But for you I don’t change.” AND’ ‘Sexy Shop’, the highly anticipated new single by Fedez, was released at midnight yesterday, with which the rapper returns to collaborate with Emis Killa. And already starting from the verses that open the song, if anyone was expecting ‘veiled references’ to the relationship between Fedez and Chiara Ferragni they will be surprised by the fact that the references do not seem ‘veiled’ at all and the whole song seems to be almost intended to be a sort of ‘testament’, of ‘last words’ that Federico Lucia wanted to dedicate to his ex-wife Chiara.

“Give me everything you can give me/I don’t leave here like thieves at the post office,” sings the rapper, who thus it seems to take another pebble out of the shoe by dissociating itself once again from the legal case that affected Chiara Ferragni. “It’s an uphill life, an infinite story / Which then ended, my fingers hurt – say other bars of the song – Why hurt us, it’s a wedding ring / With the exit hole”. Then the lunge towards the blogger’s entourage and digital entrepreneur who he married, a hatred that Fedez never hid: “For every friend of yours thirsty for fame/You were spring water/Hands of a fairy, I touched you, you faded”, he writes.

The song “is not Shakira-style stuff”, declared Fedez in a recent interview, referring to the now well-known ‘revenge song’ ‘Bzrp Music Sessions #53’ which the Colombian artist had dedicated to her ex Gerard Piqué, washing more than a dirty cloth in front of the whole world. But then he himself mentions that song in a verse of ‘Sexy Shop’, both with words and music: “Senorita, you’re dancing alone/Magnet for my gun”, says the song. A piece that, to be honest, at times seems to clearly reveal the pain that goes through relationships where there is deep love.: “I’m one step away from the void/And even if I ask for forgiveness/You say I’m a bastard,” is the final line before the chorus.

The alleged flame French model dances ‘Sexy Shop’, Fedez responds

Meanwhile, a few hours after the release of the new single, the French model indicated as his new alleged flame, Garance Authié, posted a video on Tik Tok in which she dances and sings an excerpt of the song. It would already be news but there is more: it is Fedez himself who reposts, in his Instagram stories, the video of the model who – it will certainly be a coincidence – sings the very passage in which the rapper’s piece recalls, both in the text and in music, the now famous song by Shakira addressed to her ex Gerard Piqué. No reaction at the moment, neither to the video nor to the release of the song, from Chiara Ferragni.
