The acceleration time from 0 100 km/h it has always been one of the most sought after data by sports car enthusiasts who love sprinting from a standstill more than top speed.
The car that takes fewer seconds to reach 100 km/h from a standing start has always been considered the queen of supercars and hypercars, thanks to the charm of the very fast American dragsters that have made drag racing popular.
The fastest “normal” cars, petrol, hybrid or diesel, usually take from 6 to 8 seconds to reach 100 km/h, but for the most demanding, fortunate and wealthy, there are real “beasts” capable of stopping the clock in 2 seconds or even less. They are very powerful or very light cars (or both), often with more than 1,000 HP and which cost millions of euros.
We want to put them all in line to draw up an updated ranking for 2026 road cars with the best acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h. Discover them with us!
McMurtry Sperling Pure – 1,5 secondi
It may seem strange, but to dominate this ranking of queens of acceleration it is not one of the historic sports car brands, but a completely new and almost unknown British brand in name McMurtry. The first work of the Irish entrepreneur and billionaire David McMurtry is called McMurtry Spéirling and is a compact track and road single-seater with a carbon fiber monocoque, two electric motors 1.013 CV total, rear-wheel drive, 1,300 kg of weight and a system of rear suction fans that glue it to the ground.

The McMurtry Spéirling Pure is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 1.5 secondsan absolute record among road cars, and is capable of reaching 298 km/h. 3.7 meters long, 1.78 meters wide and just 1.02 meters high, the Spéirling Pure has a limited production of 100 examples and a base price of approximately 1.1 million eurostaxes excluded.
Rimac Nevera R – 1.72 seconds
The Rimac brand is famous both for having created the first electric hypercars in history and for having taken its name from the volcanic Croatian designer and entrepreneur Mate Rimac who today is also CEO of Bugatti Rimac.

The most powerful and fastest of the electric hypercars produced in Croatia is the Rimac Nevera R which boasts the beauty of four electric motors (one per wheel), 2.136 CVa weight of 2,265 kg, a 430 km/h top speed and, above all, a 0-100 sprint in just 1.72 seconds. It is the record for a two-seater road car produced in just 40 units and with a price of 2.3 million eurostaxes excluded.
Aspark Owl – 1.78 seconds
The Japanese Aspark Owl it is among the pioneers of electric hypercars, designed in the Far East and built since 2020 in Italy by Manifattura Automobili Torino. Here too we have four electric motors that develop 1.980 CV and the curb weight is 2,050 kg.

The result is a long and very low coupé (4.80 and 1.00 metres) which manages to reach a maximum speed of 413 km/h and “burn” 0-100 in just 1.78 seconds. The 40 examples of the Aspark Owl Coupé are all sold at the price of 2.5 million euros, while the new Aspark Owl Roadster is expected in 20 examples starting from 3 million euros (always excluding taxes).
Pininfarina Battista – 1.86 seconds
The Pininfarina Battista carries a surname and name with enormous historical weight and does so with the boldness of breathtaking lines and mechanics taken from the Rimac Nevera that do justice to the prestige of the brand.

Designed and handcrafted in Italy, the Pininfarina Battista has four electric motors 1.927 CV total, 2,302 kg of empty weight, length and height of 4.91 and 1.21 meters, a maximum speed of over 350 km/h and a 0-100 in sprint 1.86 seconds. Production of 150 examples is about to end, all sold at a base price of 2 million euroswithout VAT.
Czinger 21C – 1.9 seconds
The Czinger 21C is currently the fastest road car also equipped with a combustion engine, a full hybrid with two seats in tandem which mounts a 760 HP 2.9 V8 biturbo petrol engine in the central rear position, associated with two front electric motors of around 500 HP which bring the total power to a maximum of 1.369 CV in the Blackbird version.

With an unladen weight of around 1,300 kg and a 7-speed multi-clutch sequential automatic transmission, the American coupé built in Los Angeles reaches a speed of 350 km/h (over 400 km/h for the V Max version) and reaches 100 km/h from a standstill in 1.9 seconds. Production is limited to 80 examples and costs a minimum 2 million eurostaxes excluded.

Dreams and promises
We close this roundup with some “champions” of the 0-100, i.e. those cars that have been announced or presented, both with physical and virtual models, but which they have not yet become reality drivable on the road today and perhaps not even in 2026. For this reason we have drawn up a ranking Top 10 of those who “could” become queens of 0-100 and which you can find below.
