Maria Manuela Iraci died suddenly at her home in Sordio at the age of almost 32 on Saturday morning following respiratory failure.
The latter had a disability since birth and had been undergoing dialysis treatment at the Maggiore hospital in Lodi for two years.
His family members are desperate. Mamma Giacoma Primo, who hasn’t abandoned her for a moment since her daughter was born, was at home with her, as usual, on Saturday morning.
«Maria Manuela hadn’t been well for a few days – says the parent – Dr. Farina said that the dialysis was no longer effective. This morning (Saturday, ed) she complained, I wet her lips a little with drops of eucalyptus and honey, I moved her to the armchair because she was agitated, but she continued to complain. Suddenly she smiled at me and then she closed her eyes. I immediately called 118, while on the phone they made me give me a massage, they arrived in an instant, but there was nothing to do. I don’t know what I will do without her ».
The last farewell to Maria Manuela, who has received many visits from friends and family in recent days, will be on Monday 20 March, at 10.30, in the church of Sordio.
