which figures are required and how to apply – QuiFinanza

Enel, the energy giant, has reached an agreement with the Electricity Trade Unions Filctem Cgil, Flaei-Cisl and Uiltec. This agreement, according to a note issued by the group, aims to overcome past controversies, putting people, networks and the energy transition at the centre. The agreement, explains the note, focuses on the organization of current activities and starts a technical discussion on new operating models. This joint effort is seen as a contribution to the economic growth and development of the country, promoting the electrification of consumption.

The agreement between Enel and the unions underlines the common commitment in valorising strategic assets such as the Italian distribution network, fundamental for the energy transition. Furthermore, up to two thousand new hires are expected within the network in the years 2024-2026, to support the implementation of Enel’s Industrial Plan, which foresees investments of 12.2 billion euros.

Enel hiring: how to apply

Headquartered in Rome and active in 30 countries with over 73 million users, Enel is the largest Italian company in the energy sector, listed on the stock exchange since 1999. Its divisions include Enel Energia, Enel Green Power and Enel deal with energy supply, renewable energy and advanced energy services respectively.

The new hires will concern different profiles, including workers, technicians and figures with degrees and diplomas. The objective is to guarantee the coverage of key roles within e-Distribution, which plays a crucial role in the evolution of the Italian energy sector.

Interested parties can consult the page dedicated to careers on the official Enel website, where open positions and how to send a spontaneous application are listed.

The Enel initiative that trains young people

There was also a recent initiative, called “Energie per Crescere” by Enel, in collaboration with the training organization Elis. The latter received a huge turnout, with over 16 thousand applications in just one year. The initial objective of training 5,500 technicians in two years has been largely exceeded, with over 2,800 already qualified for entry into the energy sector.

Faced with this success, Enel has expanded the program to also include renewable energy. By 2025, the training of over two thousand new professionals is expected to support the energy transition, focusing attention on the growth of the renewables supply chain.

This commitment reflects Enel’s vision, which places sustainability at the center of its corporate strategy, with the aim of achieving zero emissions by 2040.
