The positive trend of STM continues, after the rise accumulated in the previous two sessions. Tenaris records minimal progress

The major indices of the Italian Stock Exchange and the main European financial markets began the last session of the week with fractional progress.

At 09.15 am FTSEMib recovered 0.48% to 34,104 points, while the FTSE Italia All Share it was up 0.47%. Positive variations also for the FTSE Italia Mid Cap (+0.29%) and for the FTSE Italia Star (+0.39%).

THE main US stock indexes they closed yesterday’s session in negative territory. The Dow Jones dropped 0.98% to 38,086 points, while the S&P500 recorded a decline of 0.46% to 5,048 points. Negative performance also for the Nasdaq (-0.64% to 15,612 points).

Positive session, however, for the Tokyo stock exchange. The Nikkei index ended the day with a rise of 0.81% to 37,935 points, after fluctuating between a minimum of 37,551 points and a maximum of 38,098 points.

The bitcoin it stands below 64,500 dollars (less than 60,000 euros).

The Btp-Bund spread fluctuates between 130 and 135 points, with the yield on the 10-year BTP falling to 3.95%.

L’EUR remains above $1.07.

The positive trend continues STM (+0.35% to 39.76 euros), after the rise accumulated in the previous two sessions. Several investment banks have revised their assessment of the Italian-French group’s stock after the release of the financial results for the 1st quarter of 2024.

Tenaris recorded a minimum progress of 0.12% to 17.37 euros. The company has released its financial results for the 1st quarter of 2024. The numbers for the first three months of the year showed a contraction in turnover and profitability. Tenaris management has provided some financial and operational guidance for the 2nd and 3rd quarters of 2024.
