Spectacular news from the British brand Saic which is aiming for the top levels of sales in Europe and in Beijing is showcasing a hypercar that is nothing short of futuristic. Thanks to a cd of just 0.181, better even than the legendary Vw XL1 which was 0.199 but also better than any other production vehicle. There are two novelties from Mercedes at the Beijing motor show. The first is the long-awaited electric G-Class which according to initial information should have four 100 kWh batteries for a range of around 320 km. On the eve of the opening of the Beijing motor show, the Chinese brand confirmed its first pick-up which will be called Shark. The international launch is expected at the show. The new model has the same engine used by the Seal U SUV which involves the combination of a 106 HP petrol engine and a 194 HP electric engine for an 18.3 kWh battery. To be confirmed that the Shark will also be available in a fully electric version. Aesthetically, the BYD pick-up features a full-length LED light bar at the front with an enveloping light signature reminiscent of that of the Ford Ranger. MINI ACEMAN, THE HEIR TO THE CLUBMAN

The first electric-only model from the British BMW group brand is destined to replace the Clubman albeit with a different high-wheel format. The images leaked in recent months show that the Aceman is faithful to the concept unveiled in 2022 which in size is 192 mm longer and 130 mm taller than the Mini Cooper. Based on the latest leaked information, the power of the new car comes from a single engine placed on the front axle as well as rated at 181 or 215 HP. Among other things, a more spirited version signed by John Cooper Works is also expected which will adopt a more performance-inspired characterization to which inevitable modifications to the chassis will be added. In Europe the new Aceman will be on sale by the end of 2024 at prices which, however, are yet to be defined.
