Telepass, change in tariffs coming soon: procedures for subscribing and canceling
Descriptive text here

In view of the reorganization of the offers and the consequent and probable movement determined by the arrival of new subscribers and cancellations, Telepass is preparing to witness a rather intense July.

As anticipated a few days ago when illustrating his “new positioning on the consumer market”, the company, especially due to competition from Mooney and UnipolMove, plans to adjust its tariffs starting from Monday 1 July. The innovation provides for a simplification of the packages available to customers which will correspond to an increase in fees: the “Base” (formerly “Family”), just to give an example, will cost 3.90 euros per month, with an increase of 113% compared to the current 1.83 euros.

Telepass explained that its decision derives from the changed technological and market conditions and from “awareness of having a unique experience, offer and capacity for innovation”. A way, therefore, to make the most of all the experience acquired and investments made over the years. As often happens in situations of this kind, when profound reorganizations occur, it is easy to think that the month of July will be characterized by a great movement incoming and outgoing users. In anticipation of this, here are some suggestions on how to quickly subscribe to services and how to cancel.

The subscription

To subscribe to Telepass, simply act directly online, following the procedures indicated on the telepass.com portal, or even physically go to one of the offices. Residents of Milan and Turin can directly use the “Telepass Store”, while for all the others there are numerous service centers distributed in the Eni Live Station refueling stations, namely the “Telepass Point Eni Station”.

A third subscription method is to go to post offices and affiliated banks. To obtain more detailed information on the points of sale and their exact location, you can access the specific dedicated ad hoc page on the Telepass website.

The cancellation

Even to definitively close your contract it is possible to operate in different ways. Given that the tariff update arriving on July 1st is part of the “unilateral changes of the contract”, given what is defined by the Consumer Code, the customer has the right to withdraw from the agreement that binds him to the company without any obligation to pay penalties or face additional costs.

The fastest way to cancel is to return the device to a Telepass Store, a Telepass service center or a Telepass Point. Those who do not have a physical point nearby can send a notice of cancellation to the services through one of these methods:

  • by contacting customer service on the toll-free number 800 904 940, active from Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 17.00;
  • by filling out the online form at https://www.telepass.com/KTI/public/contattaci-noregistrato, inserting “CONTRACT CLOSURE” and “TELEPASS” detail in the request type tab;
  • with communication in the name of the holder of the contract to be sent to the email address [email protected] or via certified email [email protected].
