Reading to open minds, listening to speak, knowing to include, learning to pass on, feeling to listen, playing by reading to educate: from these words was born “Il Libro Parlante”, the project of the Municipality of Trequanda and the Castelmuzio Borgo Salotto association, created thanks to the contribution of the Regional Council of Tuscany (pursuant to LR n.4/2023) for the development of reading in the territory that will take place from April to October 2024 with many events dedicated to books and writing.
A new appointment in the series of free writing workshops will be held on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 July with the writer Nadia Terranova. The workshop is entitled “Dalla parte di Lei” (On Her Side) and will be held in Castelmuzio, at the Centro dell’Olio. Borrowing the title of an important novel by one of the greatest authors of the twentieth century and her eponymous column, Alba de Céspedes, we will dedicate ourselves to writing stories in which the first female person is embodied in a creative and transformative subjectivity of the surrounding reality.
The writer Loredana Lipperini concludes the series of writing workshops “for women and with women” on the weekend of 13 and 14 July. This workshop will also be held at the Castelmuzio Oil Center and is entitled “Fantastic women writers: how to talk about women in other worlds”. Shirley Jackson, Margaret Atwood, Chiara Palazzolo: three great gothic and science fiction authors who changed the vision of and of the female world.
The cycle of workshops “Il Libro Parlante” dedicated to the writing of Castelmuzio had already involved Simona Baldelli and Donata Ndreca in the past weeks.
