The book is the version in symbols of the book of the same name in the classic version (ISBN 978-88-99014-06-3) and uses the main instrument of the CAA: writing in symbols, a “bridge” that allows those who, in different capacities, , has difficulty reading a text, to be able to access it more easily. Even a vegetable garden can be a magical place, full of smells, colours, details to notice and treasure. The life of a caterpillar becomes an adventure: in the garden where it was born there are a thousand dangers to overcome and a long way to go in order to eat. Finally, after much effort, a little house will be built and, as if by magic, it will transform into a beautiful butterfly. The story is very simple and lends itself to various courses and workshops in bookshops and schools, both on nature and food (inside the book, in the story, the recipe for minestrone). Following the story: the caterpillar’s labyrinth and other games. The illustrations are very captivating and original. The three-dimensional tables created by the author with different techniques and materials are then photographed and inserted next to the texts.
