A free meeting hosted by Fabio Filippi to explore together mathematical activities, games and fairy tales to use in the classroom with children, to make mathematics a field of discovery and creativity.

What will we do in the meeting? We will follow these focuses:
Magic or mathematics? Discover, analyze and understand mathematical formulas through play and magic.
Mathematical stories: each story will present mathematical paths and questions to solve together. The pleasure of narrating becomes a teaching method for doing mathematics.
Creative challenges and team games: is it possible to solve a problem or find the solution to an operation by playing together?
Let’s act out mathematics: mathematical scenes to be interpreted through theatrical language. Mathematics, theater and comedy to experiment by putting yourself out there.
Numbers are at stake: the number as a symbolic representation to be known, explored, transformed into a “character”.

The activities we will experience together are taken from my books and we will talk about them at the webinar.
