The Municipal Library of Vicoforte presents the book “Francesco Guccini come unaltro dream – fragments of lives written and sung” edited by Andrea Sanfilippo.
The event, curated by the director of the library Sara Rossi in collaboration with the Councilor for Culture Daniela Tarò, will be held on Friday 3 May at 9pm at the Confraternita dei Battuti of Vicoforte (in front of the Town Hall).
The author, Andrea Sanfilippo, will offer guests a passionate and profound reflection on the lives and songs of one of the greatest Italian singer-songwriters, Francesco Guccini; Through “Francesco Guccini like another dream”, Sanfilippo takes the reader on an emotional journey through the words and melodies that marked Guccini’s career, offering a unique and intimate perspective on his art and his life.
The presentation will be enriched by high-level musical performances: on guitar there will be Massimo Galliano, who will accompany both Andrea Sanfilippo’s voice and guitar with his mastery, giving the audience an unforgettable sound experience.
To further enrich the evening, Simone Mammola, a philosophy professor at the Mondovì high school, will discuss with the author; through an exchange of ideas and reflections, Mammola will contribute to exploring even more deeply the meaning and importance of Guccini’s works and their impact on contemporary culture.
