Start your engines NapoliCittàLibro, the Book and Publishing Fair scheduled in Naples from 14 to 16 June 2024. The theme of the fifth edition at the Congress Center of the Maritime Station of the Campania capital will be “Re-Generations”.

The presentation of the fifth edition of NaplesCittàLibro – Book and Publishing Fair it happened at Galleries of Italy – Naples of via Toledo. “NapoliCittàLibro is a significant opportunity for the city – declares the mayor Gaetano Manfredi –, first of all, why focuses on books, reading and publishing, fundamental topics for the cultural development of Naples, which has a great tradition in this sector and needs to grow further and also be able to have a publishing industry that is up to par with the city. This initiative will allow us to have an important window on the publishing world. It opens up the exploration of new worlds and new cultures, allows for comparison, gives space to many medium and small publishing houses alongside the large publishing housesinvolves the younger generations and, by involving the municipalities, gives space to polycentric Naples.”

From 14th to 16th June they will meet again at the Congress Center of the Maritime Station of Naples 136 editorial acronyms, expression of a multiplicity of languages. The NapoliCittàLibro 2024 program is extensive, drawn up by scientific Committee composed of Vincenza Alfanojournalist, writer and teacher of literary subjects and Latin; Ileana Bonadiesjournalist, theater critic and curator of cultural events; Beatrice Giglia communication and marketing expert who began her work years ago inspired by the “Circolo delle Colte Ladies”, a salon that promoted public relations and initiatives between women and men of culture, born in Naples in the Napoleonic era; Paolo Miggianowriter, journalist and co-founder of the publishing house Terra Somnia Editore.

The program will be based on the theme of this edition which is “Re-Generations”conceived with the aim of starting an unprecedented exploration, a different point of view on the process of growth and cultural renewal of the South in particular, and of the whole country, expressed in five thematic islands: “Genres”, “Visions”,Generations”,Cognitions” and “New Memories”.
