the presentation of Anna Raviglione’s book in Salussola – Newsbiella.it

The Department of Culture of the Municipality of Salussola, in collaboration with the Civic Library of Salussola, proposes a cultural event for Saturday 27 April 2024, at 6.00 pm, during which the book “The girl of ’99” Of Anna Raviglione.

The author, literature teacher at the “E. Bona” of Biella, has numerous publications to his credit, among which we highlight the collaborations with the journalist and TG1 Rai correspondent Pino Scaccia, and various collections of poems.

In “The Girl of ’99”, the author exposes the narrative of her grandmother’s life, through the personal stories and memories of a granddaughter who is attentive as never before to every word, nuance and sensation transmitted by an extraordinary woman, capable of staying at the move with the times, if not even move forward.

There is no shortage of important episodes in the history of Biella, openings towards the worldliness of the 1950s with his distant cousin Fred Buscaglione, or important revelations about Adtriana Ivancich, Ernest Hemingway’s last companion and muse.

The author will also give some notes on the book dedicated to the great correspondent of Tg1 Rai, “Pino Scaccia, a correspondent with a soul”, and as a national preview, the new poetic anthology “The white wagon” will be presented.
