Descriptive text here

A free book “sight unseen” to celebrate World Book Day. The proposal starts from Parabiago, which to best honor an anniversary that has promoted reading for almost 30 years under the aegis of UNESCO has organized the initiative “I’ll give you a book”, «a gift to share words and emotions, an initiative to promote reading in a different way from the usual used book markets».

World Book Day will be celebrated as every year on Tuesday 23 Aprilthe date chosen by the UNESCO General Conference in 1996 in Paris to pay homage to books and their authors on the very day in 1616 when three “pillars” of culture and literature died: Miguel de Cervantes, William Shakespeare and Garcilaso de Vega.

In the city of footwear the librarians will be at Crivelli Parkor the public garden behind the library in via Brisa, Tuesday 23 April from 5pm to 6.30pm with a gazebo. The rules are simple: those who want to participate will only have to choose one of the packaged books made available, of which neither the title nor the contents will be known but it will only be indicated whether they are intended for children or adults.
